Double Trouble

Double Trouble is one of the most dynamic rap groups ever to come out of the Inland Empire. Embodying their lyrical talents to focus on culture and identity, they utilize Rap music as a tool of empowerment. Double Trouble emerged out of the eastside of Banning, California, on a mission to expose the ‘game’ on the streets and its negative effect on their environment. Their songs focus on the relationships between men and women, and the continuous struggle of survival in an atmosphere plagued by the vicious cycle of poverty, violence, drugs, and gang activities. Double Trouble seeks to enlighten their peers blending their various lyrical styles with funky R&B and Gangsta’ rap music, hoping to reach a broad range of listeners.

Double Trouble got their jump-start as members of the dynamic rap group, the 909 Boyz. With hard work, self-promotion, and grass roots organizing, Double Trouble has built a steady following throughout Southern California and beyond. They built this foundation by performing at night clubs, concerts, and community events. They have performed as featured artist at the ASCAP showcase on several occasions. They have performed shows with D.J. Quik and Suga Free at the Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon, Club Incahoots in Riverside, California, and the Magic Show at the Beach Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have also performed with the 2 Live Crew at Club Gotham in San Bernardino, California, and hosted their own concert at the Orange Show in San Bernardino. Double Trouble was featured on the “Diamonds In The Ruff - I.E.” compilation. Double Trouble’s latest CD entitled “Rated PG”, has enjoyed great sales and reviews.

Group members, Seo-Loc and ‘E’, are continuously working to expand the lyrical boundaries of the ever changing music arena, while staying true to their underground roots. With their singles, "Club Activity” and "Above Average", Double Trouble displays their amazing skills while providing listeners with "trunk-shaking bass" tracks sure to keep 'em rewinding.
